Project Overview
The E320 South Bellevue project is a major component of Sound Transit’s regional light rail expansion program, focused on delivering critical transit infrastructure in the South Bellevue area. The project includes construction of elevated guideway structures, transit facilities, and supporting infrastructure necessary to extend high capacity light rail service. Work is performed within a constrained urban corridor and requires extensive coordination with existing transportation systems, utilities, and environmental requirements. The project supports increased transit accessibility and regional connectivity while reducing congestion and improving mobility throughout the corridor.
Transcon-specific scope of work
Transcon coordinated with the prime contractor and project stakeholders to support the installation of electrical and dry utility systems associated with the transit corridor. Scope of work included installation of conduit systems, power distribution infrastructure, and communications pathways integrated within the civil and structural elements of the project. Transcon’s efforts supported critical systems such as lighting, signalization, and utility coordination required for safe and efficient transit operations. Through close coordination with other trades and adherence to project sequencing, Transcon contributed to the successful delivery of essential electrical infrastructure within a complex heavy civil construction environment.
